You twitterverse people, please post updates here so that we don't have to dig through other threads.

I'm gonna add, that if the choice was to win this game and lose AB or to lose this game and get AB back, I'd take the latter in a heartbeat. AB is a greater advantage than home field.

It sounds like the left leg injury suffered Sunday by Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown won’t ultimately end his season.
According to Adam Schefter‏ of ESPN, Brown suffered a partially torn calf muscle Sunday against the New England Patriots. While he is unlikely to play next week, Brown is reportedly expected back for the postseason.

Some may disagree, but Brown is not the best WR in the NFL.

He is the BEST PLAYER in the NFL.

Not making excuses for this game but for fucks sake can we ever play a full game against the patriots with the killer B's all healthy? I really don't think these guys are better than us if they're all in the game. Even without Brown we fucking had them.

The real time, in game decisions these guys have made are mind blowing at times. when the Pats got it down to 5 points, Ben shoulda just gone no-huddle. A couple of first downs and none of the rest of this ending happens

To be honest, they've shoulda gone no huddle long before that considering how the 4th quarter was going offensively

This from the San Diego doc who has a pretty good reputation for reasoned speculation on injuries

Antonio Brown appears to have the good kind of calf tear

Not only did he not need emergency surgery for compartment syndrome (http://www.sandiegouniontribune.com/sports/profootballdoc/sd-sp-pfd-antonio-brown-injury-leg-steelers-1217-story.html), he appears to have the good (better) kind of partial calf muscle tear....

If this were a partial tear from elongation suffered while changing directions or pushing off, it could easily affect Brown for the next 4-6 weeks, which would leave him at less than 100 percent for the playoffs.
By video, though, this partial muscle tear was from a direct blow and thus will have less separation of muscle fibers and a potentially quicker return.

Yes, he will likely still miss the final two games of the regular season, but this gives him a good chance to be effective for the playoffs

What the shit does this have to do with AB injury update..?....Just how far can you get from a thread topic?

Why not start you own Fire Haley and Butler thread. DAMN!

Glad he will be back for the playoffs, less to think about in that department.

I hope this is true. We had some experts give much better prognosis for Shazier.

Speaking briefly to reporters Tuesday night at a charity event at Ross Park Mall, Brown wouldn't speculate on whether he will return this season. He is listed as out for the Steelers' game Monday at Houston. It will be the first regular-season game he has missed because of injury since November 2012.

"We'll see," Brown said. "I'm looking forward to the process of getting better and see where it leads."

(http://www.espn.com/nfl/team/_/name/pit/pittsburgh-steelers)No surprise with this update but discouraging that AB may not be at full strength for the remainder of the season

Pittsburgh Steelers star wide receiver Antonio Brown (http://www.espn.com/nfl/player/_/id/13934/antonio-brown) is not expected to be ready for the wild-card round of the playoffs, a league source told ESPN.

If Pittsburgh wants to enhance its chances of having Brown for the start of its playoff run, the Steelers would have to clinch a bye during wild-card round.

This isn't a huge surprise. Let's just hope the team can secure a bye, and AB can return in some capacity.

A major muscle injury to a WR is going to be a problem without a lot of time to heal.
