In Pittsburgh, it’s unusual for a rookie to have such an impact. It’s unusual for a rookie to have as many sacks as T.J. Watt. But according to Mike Tomlin, unusual might be an apt word to describe his play. The rookie made as many plays in coverage as he did as a pass rusher Sunday night and in today’s press conference, Tomlin was asked about that element of Watt’s game.

His knowledge, work ethic, and passion for the game are where it needs to be for him to be successful. If he learns to disengage from blocks better (bulking up some will help), he'll be the complete package

still ahead of Juju in my opinion in our rookie of the year award contention. Juju's been getting close in recent weeks but TJ's body of work from game 1 to now has been exciting to watch. Pro bowl for him next season!
