Byron Leftwich lined up with teammates and threw more passes in practice Thursday, and it's obvious another bubbling quarterback controversy is on the way for the Steelers.

That would make it about No. 3, not counting their off-field quarterback controversies. It would be great to watch Lefty live against Tampa and then listen to the bucs fans bitch and moan about losing to Lefty whom they benched because they thought their losing ways last year was due to him.

Let's see how scary Dixon is this week throwing the ball first.

We HAVE to win that Tampa game.

It depends on how Dixon does sunday and also how Lefty feels come Sept. 26th...I think if the Steelers win and Dixon does enough to not lose he should stay the starter until Ben comes back.

Unless he epic fails on Sunday, Dixon should start until Ben is back.

Let's see how DD looks after this game vs the titians. As long as we win that is all that matters.

Should Dixon play well vs the Titans , Lefty can return Sept 26 in uniform with a great view from the sidelines

As long as Dixon is gradually improving, let him stay and continue to develop.
