Bradshaw four Superbowl wins and no losses. Decided his elbow was shot even though he threw 4 tds against the Jets. Ben been to 3 SB's and won two and seems not the same qb since the last SB. Who is better ?

Of course with my somewhat bias post I'm going Bradshaw and seen both.

Ben not the same QB since its last SB (2010)?

It's ridiculous....Ben has been a top 5 QB for the majority of years since that time.

Both HOF QBs

Ben had the benefit of walking into a situation that the team was ready to win immediately whereas Bradshaw had to wait for talent to arrive - but once that talent arrived it was the best (5 HOF players on offense and Steel Curtain's prime was also Bradshaw's prime)

Ben probably the better QB but under 70s rules Ben's style of playing hero ball on every play for the first half of his career probably would have resulted in him being knocked out of the league after 5-6 years

Has anybody ever talked about getting cheerleaders?

Beat me to it...

Different times, different eras. Can’t really compare and if you do, there is no wrong answer.

I'll take either one as opposed to Malone, Stout, Brister, Kordell, O'Donnell, Maddox, etc.

I don't know but who had more suddeness and glide: Rich Erenberg, Jack Deloplaine, or Fred McAfee?

I’ll take Brister out of that group. Kordell if he stays Slash. It’s a better debate topic than Ben vs Bradshaw.

...don't leave out the formidable Kent Graham, Mike Tomczak, Jim Miller or David Woodley. :doh2:

Add them all together, and that was a long, painful stretch.

Ben. And you're right. Ben isnt the same QB since 2010. He's hit his prime since then, and that prime might not even be over yet. I may egg on the guy for sucking on the road the past few seasons but i can see that its too early in the season to close shop on Ben's elite status.

I like them both, but i think Bradshaw was more consistant.

Hard to compare, one won more super bowls with a better team, the other posted better stats in an era where it's easier to throw the ball.

Would Ben have won 4 super bowls playing with 8 other hall of famers? Probably

Would Bradshaw be top 10 all time in pass yards and touchdowns playing to today's pass happy league? Probably

Yup. Makes you consider how many future hall of famers he has played with.

Jerome Bettis is already in. Troy Polamalu, Alan Faneca, Antonio Brown, and Maurkice Pouncey as shoe ins. Casey Hampton and James Farrior with somewhat of a chance, but ILB's arent exactly a popular gold jacket candidate, and neither are nose tackles with little in stats. Aaron Smith 100% deserving but we know he never will. James Harrison and Hines Ward with an outside chance. Cameron Heyward/Ryan Shazier pending, but Im not sure Cam's stats will ever be quite pretty enough and ive always seen him as just on the cusp of being great but not quite (think he'll have a few years such as the current season where he is great though). Ryan I dont think will have a long enough career for this.

So thats 5 in my opinion

For me thats 5.

Right now the score is 4-2.

I never felt it was fair for anyone to diminish Bradshaw's 4 SB wins because he played with a legendary defense.

Usually this debate shakes out along generational lines....who was the Steelers QB when you got hooked.

I still feel that Terry threw a better and more consistent deep ball than Ben.

If not for Bradshaw, at least two of the Super Bowls May have gone the other direction.

Based on statistics, Brad wins because of 2 more SB victories. However, I watched them both play and Ben never got benched for playing poorly either. Ben has thrown some picks, but I saw Bradshaw put the team in many holes with lots more bad throws. Yes, he also dug them out in some of the most stomach churning games I ever saw.

Ben has a better and steadier overall career other than SB victories. Ben won the SB in his second year while Brad was being ridiculed as an idiot. If not for a fumble by Mendenballs or a drop by somebody else, Ben might have 4 SB wins too.

:nerd: The Falcon was the best of the StarWars toys, by far far away, IMO. There was a DeathStar set that combined all of the DeathStar 'movie' scenes into one fold out toy set. Had they taken that idea to several sets that pieced together to form the entire DeathStar, that could have beaten the Falcon. But, the MillenniumFalcon, carried the best fun/dollars/hours ratio.
The LandSpeeder was probably one of the most well made toys ever built. Nearly as indestructible as Tonka. The AT-AT was about the opposite. The pieces didn't quite fit right and it fell over so often most had a cracked or broken shell piece by NewYear's Day.

You must’ve gotten a defective AT-AT. I got mine in 1983 and it’s still rocking today when my kids bring it out to play. Same with the Falcon. Only problem I’ve ever had was the decals coming off after however many years...lol.

I didn't actually have either. I had the landspeeder, my cousin had the Falcon, AT-AT, AND DeathStar. We each had an X-Wing. He had a Tie Fighter, I had Vader's Tie Fighter. MAN!!! Old nerds huh? We both had 2 Dewbacks and butt loads of Stormtroopers. Can never have too many Stormtroopers. My favorite was always his Falcon, though.
I have StarWars stuff in my room at work. People ask all the time about it. Everyone, 45-50, has the same StarWars memories it seems. I get some that will ask if the new movies are as good as the originals. I always tell them, the originals exist in a 3rd grade state of nostalgia. That can never be duplicated at my current age. But yes, I do appreciate the efforts on the new stuff. It's really a generational thing. My parents had Elvis.

I had a couple landspeeders, the Vader tie and the x-wings. Also had a Slave I and cloud city twin car ship. Probably had a few other things as well. Never had the dew back and always wanted. Did have a tauntaun though...lol. I still have all my stuff and let me kidsmuse them when they get the feeling. They have their own stuff now though.
