As soon as a player gets fined I always hear Randy Moss in my head saying "Straight cash homie."

It started out normal, but the fines increase by a certain percentage every year. This is the 5th? year of the CBA? So it may have started out as 15,000 but now it is up to 24,309.
I don't think Watt ever touched the QB for which he was flagged 15-yds.

I miss the days when a penalty wasn't an automatic fine.
i don't really care about a bunch of millionaires having to pay fines anymore

I miss the days when a penalty wasn't an automatic fine. Remember the days when an hard hit wasn't an automatic penalty?

Oh, most definitely.
There is a difference between hard hitting and dirty plays, but not in the NFL.

Not like the NFL to leave money on the table like that.

Probably saw that JJ raised 33 Million for the Hurricane relief and let it slide this time.

So true. Violent hits are penalized more often whether they are dirty or not.

Which is a problem. The officiating is penalizing the result, not the play and thats a problem.

Yep. They've been doing that for years.
