this is trending all over ESPN and NFL. I got to say its impressive. Makes me wonder though if Ol' Dicky was getting to predictable.

I bet most recently retired QBs can do this. He was also calling Oakland's offensive plays

I respect Dick Lebeau, but I do not think his system can work in the NFL of today.

The packers fans probably agree with this, since Dom Capers run the same system and they are always bad in the playoffs in the last couple years.

I said it before and I'll say it again. Dick Lebeau's Defense was exposed in XLIII and went downhill since.

Back in it's heyday, only the special breed of Quarterback (Brady, Brees, Rodgers) could beat it. In Lebeau's final years here, any joe schmoe quarterback could beat it. Mike Glennon infamously went into Heinz Field in 2014 with a winless Bucs team and beat the Steelers. It was right then and there, that the Lebeau D's time was pretty much up.

Troy masked the deficiencies of the Defense, but once he declined, the D was exposed.

The Lebeau D, like the 46, is basically finished in this day of quick passing offenses. Teams followed the Patriots blueprint. Players are much more shiftier and faster, and exploit those holes easily.

2008 Romo vs LeBeau/Steelers : Deshea pick6 and Steelers win a defensive battle. Romo sacked 3 times and 3 INTs. People buy Deshea a beer wherever he goes.

2012 Romo vs LeBeau/Steelers: Romo Gets a win and 341 yards and 2 TD's. Steelers lose 27-24. Romo only sacked 1 time.

Romo doesn't seem like a significant upgrade over Simms (Milton Waddams would have been an upgrade over Simms), Romo seems like he will actually be really good in the booth

I think the first game that Romo will do a game of the Steelers will be against the Chiefs in week 7.......

Maybe we'll see if Butler and Haley are predictable like LeBeau!

Romo isn't really supposed to be doing this on a live broadcast. I can see Belichick with his Bluetooth in his ear inside his headset with a direct line to an associate watching TV.:chuckle:

I'd tune in for Milton... :chuckle:

Or get in only a few incomprehensible mumbles, a "excuse me" or an "I was was told" before getting cut off by Nantz

Meh. He was predicting Titans and Raiders offense as well. I'm with Mojouw feeling that most NFL QBs can do this. Romo has already brought more to the booth than Simms has...lol.

One year, for Halloween, I dressed as Milton (and my wife dressed as Jennifer Aniston's character). All night long, I kept asking people if they had seen my stapler... and if they hadn't, I threatened to set their house on fire.

Those who had seen the movie laughed.

Those who hadn't... didn't take to kindly to my words.

Office Space should be required viewing for anyone who's ever had a job.
