I think it would be fair to say that Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Marcus Tucker might not have a job in the NFL right now had it not been for the fourth quarter of the team’s final preseason game. The vast majority of his production of the preseasons came in the last several minutes of the game, and he is now on the practice squad largely because of it.

Take a look at that film review. Play 1 is a quick out with the CB giving 7YD cushion. Play 2 is a crossing pattern where the LB takes out Tuckers CB and Play 3 is a lazy double move, where the breaks are not crisp, but the CB turns his back on Tucker and that is probably why he is getting garbage time.

I would love to see Dodens Grav add the Landry Jones INT from the Colts game where Tucker ran a lazy clear out from the slot, so the CB could jump in front of JuJu for the INT. His only real value might be a special teamer IMO and with Ayers gone, a guy they can bring of the PS to play the slot in case of injuries.

He's likely an early candidate for replacement for a more needed position.

We may see him again at some point this season. Hope it doesn't come to that.
