Hopefully he stayed out long enough to clean out his system before the urinalysis

Watched twitter video on him and he can barely speak English, no surprising he fails drug tests .... probably can't read the list of banned substances.

Personally I'm hoping he comes in plays all 19 games rushes for 2000 yards, 1000 receiving, 15 TDs. I mean damn!!

I have gone to P-G chats to ask if Bell is still subject to random testing from his last suspension or will not be tested until he reports. No surprise the stenographers who cover the Steelers do not know

Atlanta Dan: Has Mr. Bell still been in Stage 2 of the NFL's substance abuse program this summer and subject to random testing or has he been discharged (with no additional positive tests a player can be discharged after 12 months in Stage Two) and subject to being tested again for marijuana in his system only after he apparently will elect to report to the Steelers on September 1?
Gerry Dulac: Sorry, I don't know that answer.

Since Bell stayed out all preseason seems like something a beat reporter might want to find out:noidea:

I expected Bell to get trashed by the fans, but I am very surprised by the amount of trash sent his way.
But then again, he brought it upon himself.
He better produce big time this year otherwise he's gonna take a beating and will be looking to leave Pittsburgh.

Agreed. And before someone interjects with "bu-bu-but, weed!," the NFL policy pursuant to marijuana use is an absolute joke and I'd put a healthy wager down that over 90 percent of the players in the league spark up on a regular basis.

Technically, Ramon Foster had the BEST troll of Bell.

Seriously.

I wish I knew how to post tweets and/or pics. It was a Michael Jordan crying meme... and, it was brilliant.

He deliberatlily trolled fans and mocked them because he made a couple hundred k from his shitty raps. I hope he plays well, but I completley regret ever giving him my hard earned money. Spending $200 bucks on a jersey may not mean much to him, but that's a lot money for a working stiff like me. So for him to take that so lightly and mock me as fan for questioning his loyatly, fuck that guy. I hope that Conner can out play his money grabbing ass personally. Fuck him

I am not sure how I feel about Bel, he is still a Steeler, but he also acted like a butthead this past off season. A lot of how I feel is tied to what transpires between now and when he either signs a new long term contract or leaves us to play with someone else. Of course if he stays then all is good. If he leaves us for a buttload of money then good for him. Now if he leaves us to play for the cheats then he deserves the what ever fans dish out. I can't help but have the feeling this is why he is acting the way he is. I can't help but feel that sucker punch got into his head while he was here. Funny how he gets injured during the playoff game against them last year and comes out and says the Steelers new about it. Funny how belicheat always praises him when we play them. IDK I could be wrong, I hope like hell I am but something just smells funny to me.

I'm a fan of the Steelers first. Players have come and gone, and some have stayed heroes after they left. All I want is what's best for the Steelers. Bell is what's best for the Steelers. So, I want Bell on this roster for as long as we can keep him.

By age 25 you are no longer a "kid" - just immature

So did Bell simply refuse to sign his tender offer on Friday as one final bit of acting out or did the Steelers tell his agent as long as you are playing this game do us a solid and wait to sign it until Monday since that will give us a little more flexibility in terms of cuts/potential waiver signings this weekend if Bell is not yet counted as part of the 53 man roster? :noidea:

Bell hasn't signed it yet because the Steelers appear to be using that as an extra roster spot...loop hole. I think it's been "planned".

he already signed from what I am hearing , he just did so AFTER league offices where closed and they will not reopen until Tuesday morning so it gives them time to place IR designation on Sutton

The word is that Sutton may go to IR with the designated to return option. I'm guessing that we also might be working on signing a safety with the injuries there.
