Lets keep it real guys... The Titans QB is not that much better than Dixon as he (Young) is BARELY a starter himself. The Steelers have the superior defense so the game can go either way...
Dixon passed for 236 last week... Young passed for 154.... The Falcons are way better than the Raiders...
Chris Johnson is their team !!! Yea. Shut down CJ, and its a rap...

You clearly don't know football or weren't paying attention at all. We won in spite of our 3rd string qb going 18-26.:rolleyes:

This is just a comparison-contrast between the two QB's... not the overall team effort.

Young was just 17 pass attempts against the Raiders.Young has much improved since last year, we must respect his legs and is made better with his arm.......But of course,Chris Johnson is the best player of the Titans!

And our last 2 game against the titans, steelers have been very bad to run the ball........I know it was Wille Parker, but his last 2 game against the Titans, he had 31 yards on 19 runs in 2008 and 36 yards on 23 runs last year.......I hope that Mendenhall will be better!

falcons had the 28th ranked pass defense last year. the raiders pass defense was ranked 7th in 2009.

IMO, both young and dixon are poor QBs

Dixon has a good excuse...not as many NFL starts as Young.

Um, yeah. That's what happens when your team rushes for 205 yards. I hope you realize that VY had a 142.8 QB rating during the Raiders game, albeit he didn't throw much.

You're being overly judgemental on the past. The Falcons have revamped their defense at EVERY level, especially the D-line. Absolutely revamped.

True. The Buffalo Bills were #2 in pass D...they finished 6-10 last year. The Raiders finished 5-11. The Falcons finished 9-7. Last year The Titans were 31st in pass Defense... finished 8-8. Which means 1- Dixon "should" have a pretty good day as far as passing. And 2- Even if they stopped Dixon's passing attack completely, we can still win (reference the Bills 6-10 record). So I think our chances are better than we really think... And with Troy back we should drive V. Young crazy...

They ran the ball 8 more times than we did (31 vs 39)... V. Young had 7 of those runs... we'll need to watch him...

I believe this is the first time they have faced V Young. They didn't play in 2006-2007 and 2008-2009, Collins was the QB when they played
