As posted in other threads, Ben is trolling everyone:grin:

More from today

Ben Roethlisberger (http://www.espn.com/nfl/player/_/id/5536/ben-roethlisberger) has cited health concerns and family as potential reasons to leave prime years on the field and retire sooner rather than later. Then, when addressing the media Wednesday, Roethlisberger offered a counterargument of sorts with this sneakily significant quote:

"If those guys in the front play as well as they've been playing, getting sacked 17 times in a year, that might keep me around a little longer," Roethlisberger said about his offensive line.

http://www.espn.com/blog/pittsburgh-steelers/post/_/id/24402/steelers-o-line-holds-key-to-ben-roethlisbergers-future

But it is good to read these sorts of "Happy Ben" stories rather than last week's "Weary Ben" contemplating retirement stories

As I already said, I expect Ben to play at least his rest of his contract unless Roethlisberger has a big decline in his performances....

I expect Ben to play out his contract also. Unless an injury puts him out. He can decline a lot and still be better than all the options out there.

Seeing Ben at camp....it looks as though he has had a "relaxing" offseason....

We'll see what he says after he gets knocked on his ass a few times and has Burfict nibbling at his ankles.

I expect Roethlisberger still has 3 very good years in him if he continues to play, but when I was talking about decline, I was talking about a decline like Peyton Manning in 2015 where despite having won the super bowl, Manning was probably the worst Starting QB in the nfl that year.

I think that if Roethlisberger retires next year or in 2019, it's going to be because he will not be able to play at a good level, that the steelers will want to move on or that it will be because he will have had a season Of a lot of injury like in 2015, but worse.
