I would hope so. I mean if they dude who drafted him doesn't have faith in him...

I think he has upside and I get tired of hearing he can't do this that or the other. When he gets live action and demonstrates that he can't then OK... I think he has great instincts for the ball and that is something that speed won't get you.

I agree, he has very good instincts, that will help make up for (what I keep hearing) his lack of speed and size. Every time I saw him play (not so often, but a little) he was always around the ball. If he keeps that up, gets stronger I will be fine with him as a primary backup.

100% agree with that ... you can not account with a stop watch a mans anticipation and instincts ... someone may be faster point A to point B but if they do not start moving in that direction at the same time and your spotting the slower man ground he just may beat the faster man to the point of impact

We aren't sure if that is good or bad...are we?

If you have both speed and great instincts then you got a Jack Ham/Junior Seau type player. Which don't come along often of course.

My favorite non starter / ST player.

His passion, intensity & film study is admirable.

Agreed, and I think we will see a big improvement in his game this year.
