"No badass list is complete — or should begin anywhere else other than with — James Harrison," said Eric Edholm, an NFL writer who has worked at Yahoo Sports. "Dude has lava coursing through his veins; nothing else can explain his ogre strength or infinite pain threshold.

Obviously, the most obvious poll ever.

He is not human, he is James Harrison.

The clip of him pushing 1800 lbs is pretty darn badass, and if I tried that crap, my feet would snap off.

He is not as mean as Jack Lambert, but is strong as Mean Joe.

I don't think there has been anybody as mean as Jack Lambert in many years. There have been cheapshot artists, but Lambert was diabolical in his evilness. Yeah, he did bend some rules, but he was just a mean machine. He deserved the moniker every bit as Joe Greene.

I love Jack Lambert as much as anybody else. Both him and Deebo are from Kent State.

There is no player who would even think about messing with either of them.

Both do what they want and do not give a rat's ass what anybody else thinks.

Lambert would bring a 6 pack and a cigarette to a fight. Deebo would bring his biceps.

Deebo advertised his motorcycle for sale and I think people were probably too scared to buy it and scratch it out of fear of him finding out even if they paid for it :chuckle:

Watching old footage, they were both dirty. Maybe "dirty" was more common in the 70s, but they were both icons for it.

A hit that you remember is more impressionable than a hit that knocks you out. Deebo still delivers those. Lambert personalized the '70s defenses. Harrison made them change the rules.

Reminds me of when Da Beard showed up to camp driving a front end loader and dumped his luggage out of the bucket. He was wearing a Steelers hard hat.
