Tomlin not ruling out Starks, Hampton for Sunday

The Steelers got good news on the injury front as starting left tackle Max Starks has a low ankle sprain and probably won't miss more than a game.

Starks may practice on a limited basis this week and head coach Mike Tomlin did not rule him out for the Steelers' 1 p.m. game Sunday at Tennessee.

He also did not rule out nose tackle Casey Hampton (hamstring) playing against the Titans.

I think Starks will and should be out Sunday. I would rather wait a few weeks and have him at 100% then bring him back half healed and chance losing him for the season, I expect Big Snack back Sunday though.

I agree. Don't want to rush him back too soon and I think Hills will be just fine until Max is fully healed.

I really do hope Snacker is back on Sunday - we're going to need him with the beast in the Tites backfield. Though I'm sure Hoke can fill in adequately, I don't think he puts the same fear of God into RB's like Big Snack does.

Great news....lets see if Hills can hold down the fort till Max gets back. I have confidence in him.

Wow unexpected good news. I wouldn't play Starks this week even if he can. 1 week versus 4-6 sounds great.
