Not a fan of Taco? Explain. Only knock I see from him is lack of experience in pass coverage. I love his physicality and I believe that's what this team needs. We already have all the speed in the world.

Someone is going to bed tonight as a brand new Steeler but I haven't a clue who.

All I'm sure of it's going to be someone none of you has named. :lol:

a few things really ...

lack of experience
slow feet don't eat when playing off ball
next to nothing in terms of coverage ability and we ask that a lot from our edge players
more of a project for our scheme than I would care to have as a 1st round pick as all these kids are a project anyways transitioning

thats my 2 cents your mileage may vary

I guess if I had to take coverage ability OR run support, I would take coverage ability. Our DL should be able to stop the run, so learning how to set the edge in their first year is probably easier than learning how to cover a zone (and getting those reads and instincts up to par).

If Sweed was in the draft again this season, not knowing how his career turned out, I'd draft him again...lol. He was my favorite pick in what turned out to be a garbage couple of drafts...
