The 2013 NFL Draft will not go down in history as being one that included a great quarterback class. In fact, of the 11 quarterbacks drafted that year, only one them now remains with the team that selected him and that player is none other than Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Landry Jones.

Jones is probably the best QB of this 2013 draft class.

This shows how 2013 was an awful draft.

Hopefully he will be like the Maytag repairman over the next 3 years.

Looking at the QBs from that draft class, I can't name one that was any good

Well.....out of a shitty QB draft class, we got the best one. That's gotta count for something.

No he's not. I'd take Glennon over him in a second. Landry still being on the Steelers really doesn't mean anything more than he's on a team that has a franchise QB. He's not expected to be anything more than a backup.

You are right.I had completely forgotten Glennon.

Bill Polian was right! Lol. He said that Landry was the best that year, before the draft.

Jones being the best QB is like having the best migraine

One could argue that the only reason Landry is on the team still is because the cost of a decent backup is way more than what one is worth

Who are all these amazing back-up QBs that are just priced out of the Steelers market?

What all is missing wonder what that QB draft class was considered that year ? Good year and lot of prospects with serious potential ? Everyone is dogging this years class but can't get any worse then that one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Name a QB drafted as a back up that moved up the chart to become a legitimate starter.

Tom Brady, Kirk Cousins, Dak Prescott just to name a few off the top of my head.

going back a ways Steve Bono ( who got his NFL break ) via the Steelers in the strike season he was a replacement player ... he wasnt a great QB but he was a starter for a few years when it took a strike to even get hm a good look ...

just a guess but I suspect these guys where a pleasant surprise to the teams that landed them ... considering NONE of them where drafted ...

He's not the best of the that class, that's for sure. At minimum, Manuel and Glennon are better (e.g., they have shown they can play QB for an NFL team and generally not look totally in over their heads). You could make an argument that Smith and even Barkley are too. Or maybe the same; it's all a jumble when the bar is that low.

The one thing that stands out to me from this article is that we're the only team that's afraid to move on. Jones is our version of a broken chair that you aren't allowed to throw out because your wife insists that someday she's going to make it into an art project, and before you know it, it's been taking up space in your garage for five years while you're parking your car in the driveway.

Brady. Rodgers. Prescott.

Used to be more common. Fabre, Gannon, Young, Garcia, Deberg, etc.

Rodgers wasn't drafted as a back up. He was drafted as an eventual successor to Favre. I mean if you are going to put Rodgers on the list, then Ben goes on the list as well and that list is going to get really, really long...
