I'd be ok with this kid in the later rounds. I mean the kid really blocks...thanks for the tip B&G!

We’re back again breaking down prospects for the 2017 NFL Draft, set to kick off on April 27th through the 29th. Our goal this season is to write reports on at least 150 players and hopefully, as many as 200. It will, of course, have a focus on Pittsburgh Steelers’ wants and needs but we will look big-picture too at the best players in this year’s draft.
If there’s a player you would like us to breakdown, let us know in the comments below. Today, another tight end for you to examine.

He's a Pittsburgh Steelers TE.

I'm sure they'll be interested.

:chuckle: Well at least this guy is a proven blocker. I somehow think he will be moving up in the draft , on the other hand I think many teams are moving to the hybrid TE.

Best TE to pick. You can keep the fancy, soft TEs.

Pretty impressed with Beathard as well.

Pretty impressed with Beathard as well. He's kinda streaky though. He has moments where you can't stop him, then a completely different guy shows up the next week. I'd put him in the realm of Jones. Capable as a back-up, but not sure if he's NFL starter material. Don't get me wrong, I've been a Iowa fan since I was old enough to walk. I'm a huge fan of Kittle though, dude is a smart football player who has a very high awareness level. Not as good as Heath Miller was coming out of UVA, but he's a very well rounded out TE. I'd rather have him than any of the other flashy TE's.

It's my boy Kittle! Would love to see him in the Black and Gold again!
