Who will be in the HOF this year?

We already know that Terrell Owens will not be in the HOF this year......

That's bull shit. If a WR gets in before Owens, it's just the writers being assholes...they shouldn't get a vote whatsoever. It's a joke that that's who decides who does or doesn't get in. Second most yards for a WR in NFL history and they put a kicker and an above average RB for a short time in over him. Lol.

TO not getting in again is karma (that guy is an asshole), LT was a no-brainer, Terrell Davis I think I am ok with, he waited long enough. Hoping Faneca gets in

An 8-time all-pro and one of the most decorated linemen of his era gets snubbed for a kicker?! What a joke. Plus they could have and should have added more

Jerry Jones is also in the HOF.

HOF senior committee snubbed Shell and LC again, and Jerry gets inducted for what, hiring Jimmy Johnson and duping Minnesota into giving up a king's ransom for Herschel Walker?

Also Seahawks fans are probably excited about Easley, well, the 10% percent of the fanbase that knows who he is.

I don't think Davis deserves to be there.

Im agree that it is a joke. Look how long it took the Snake to get in. He had to die to get in. It is a total crock of shit that Donnie Shell is not in. There so many Raiders and Steelers from the 70's that should already be in.

More likely this

Jones bought the Cowboys in 1989 for $140 million.

Value in 2016 - $4.2 billion

http://www.forbes.com/nfl-valuations/list/#tab:overall

Owners get in for their contributions to the game - Jones showed the way to megabucks for an owner - it's all about the Benjamins

Also isn't it a little odd that Derrick Thomas and Kevin Greene had to wait (among others), but Jason Taylor got in immediately. Taylor may be great, but he doesn't scream 1st ballot HOF, especially in the company of some who had to wait

The wrong Terrell got in. I know he's a dick but he'll (T.O.) eventually get in.

The Murderer will get in.

So will Randy Moss.

Hutchinson bumps out Faneca for another year... because they are NOT putting two guards in in the same year (even though they should).

The other three are not any more special (IMO) than the players on this year's list. They're all great (those three and this year's crop) but not standouts like LaDainian Tomlinson and/or Randy Moss. For example, Barber = Dawkins.

The HOF voting has turned into a complete joke, just like the rest of the NFL. It's purely a popularity contest now. How the Hell does Faneca not make it again??? How does TO (yes, he's a dick but that shouldn't matter) not make it? How does Terrell Davis make it based on 4 good years in the NFL? Why would ANYONE vote for Jerry Jones? Morten Anderson???? Kenny Easley? Another guy who didn't play very long but yet he gets in and Donnie Shell can't?

I have no problem with Terrell Davis being at the HOF since he was amazing in his peak(he was great in the playoffs) and he is the biggest reason why Elway finished his career with 2 rings instead of 0, but I have a problem with a kicker be in the HOF.

And I do not think Jerry Jones deserves to be at the HOF.The broncos owner deserves more than Jones.

Numbers game for Donnie Shell based on how many 70s Steelers are in (including Lynn Swann, who in a 9 year career had one All Pro season in 1978 and 3 Pro Bowl seasons to go with unremarkable stats)

I completely disagree. Ultimately, football is a team sport, and the ultimate team sport. Owens was the ultimate ME player. Personally, I don't know if he ever deserves to be in the Hall of Fame. Now, if it was a Hall of Infamy, he'd be a shoe-in.

I grew up watching Easley play every Sunday. He absolutely deserves to make it. Here's just a little of his highlights (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=quxbCQ4m8Ww). His career was cut short by Kidney failure due to team doctors directing him to take too much aspirin.

90% of WRs are ME players. Just because he like attention and wanted the ball every play takes nothing away from what he accomplished on the field.
He pretty much kept the Eagles in the game versus the Patriots in the Super Bowl after being injured and playing against Doctor orders after tearing ligaments and breaking a leg. If the Eagles win, he's MVP. That's not putting himself before the Team...unless you want to think that he did that only for himself...lol. Sure he was an attention whore and a dick at times...still deserves the Hall of Fame. There's no WR that deserves to be in over T.O.

I watched Easley his whole career so you're not telling me anything that I don't already know. He was a great player for 6 seasons. That's not long enough to be a HoFer IMO.

Good news is Kurt Warner made it. That means if he made it, Big Ben has to be a first ballot shoe in. Talk about a small window career. Warner played awhile, and with two teams, but he was only a HOF worthy QB two - four seasons at the most.

All the guy did was post monster #'s everywhere he went. Made each team better upon his arrival. And was the only WR worth double covering on many of those teams. TO was a monster. As you you said, he was a dick, but the dude could play.

Plus, if TO doesn't get in then Hines Ward never gets in either. Owens is top 5 in every major receiving category and folks want to say he shouldn't get in. Who cares if he was an ass?

The HOF has become a watered down joke to be honest. The NFLN pimps their chosen one every year, this year it was TD.

I agree 100%. Him being an ass has nothing to do with the HOF. I don't like him at all but his career numbers show that he should've been elected on the first ballot. These idiots that are voting need to put their petty grievances aside and vote for the players that had the best careers instead of just who they like.

2 great seasons w/the Rams

2 great seasons w/the Cardinals.

3 out of 12 seasons where he played all 16 games. 1 season where he played 15 games.

The rest not so much.

Under the Terrell Davis "rule", Warner gets in.
