I have nothing against Reid, he's a really good coach. Me either but glad he never coached the Steelers and enjoy winning a SB now and then.

He's never had the QB to win one. McNabb was a choker and Alex Smith is Alex Smith. Brady/Rodgers hits that wide open long pass he (thankfully) missed.

BS and Mcnabb was more then good enough to win a Superbowl. If you want to keep defending the fat ass chockster, cool and good luck with that. Andy ain't all that as a coach in my opinion! Anyhow Go Steelers!

The guy puked on the field in the Super Bowl against the Patriots. Even T.O. ripped him for choking in that game. McNabb wilted in the big games.

Watching Osweiler last night made me want to puke. Mcnabb was above average QB. Reid is the worse choke artist ever and proved it again. Makes me wonder what fans we have here when people defend other coaches and teams so seriously!

Not a desirable distinction to have!

The AFC West breeds regular season geniuses like him and Schotty and Norv, but the reality of the playoffs grinds them into common coaches.

Totally agree. Andy Reid has been successful his entire career.

Reid is a good coach and I wouldn't mind seeing him get a Super Bowl ring at some point.

Reid is a good coach, just not a great coach. He has merits, taking over 2 teams that finished with the worst record prior to his arrival and turning them into great regular season teams. However, 18 years and no Super Bowls is a stain on his career, as are those back-to-back-to-back NFC Championship defeats including 2 losses in a row to the Bucs and Panthers.

McNabb was a choker, never once stepping up in the big game

It really isn't so much that McNabb choked, it was that he spent his whole career being asked to do something he really wasn't good at. Reid's offense relies on the QB to complete a high % of his passes. Something north of 65 or so would be ideal for Reid's version of the WCO. McNabb really was never that guy.

Reid made his bones working with Holmgren in Green Bay with Favre at QB. That's Reid's offense as much as anyone elses. While Favre's completion percentage isn't that much better (http://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/F/FavrBr00.htm) it is enough better and combined with sheer playmaking ability to get a Reid offense over the hump.

What Andy Reid has done with two relatively inaccurate QBs in McNabb and Smith is really a great job of maximizing talent.

McNabb was a good QB to say he wasn't is just being a hater. To say Andy isn't a good coach, that's just hating more. That Eagles team was pretty damn good for a pretty long time...that says something about the both of them.

Marv Levy and Jim Kelly never got it done but no one calls them choke artists.

The decision to kick off with 2:30 left in the game and one timeout was a bad one.

I get Reid having more confidence in his defense... except Bell had 170 yards rushing. The probability was that the Chiefs would never touch the ball again... which they didn't. I think it would have been the right call if Bell had been held to 60 yards and the defense had been getting 3 and outs. Steelers punted once all game and Reid's big decision was to force a crucial second punt or lose the game? Dumb.
