Math:

2015 (w/out BB):
Steelers 13
Chiefs 23

2016:
Steelers 43
Chiefs 14

2017 (averaged):
Steelers 28
Chiefs 19

Bell has 25 carries for 175 yards and 3 TDs. (Bell plus 20+ carries equals victory.)

Equally as important, the Steelers defense will record 8 sacks... 5 on third down.

I really expect Ben to come out firing downfield and connect to someone unexpected Heyward-Bey and or Coates.

Steelers control throughout

Pitt - 35
KC - 16

I'm of two minds. One says 13-10 Steelers. We come out running the ball, and so do they, slugging it out in the run game all night with a few over the top to keep the other team honest. Steelers win with a clock-chewing drive featuring Bell almost exclusively as he just edges over 200 yards for the night in rushing, putting the game in the W column with a field goal.

The other says 34-14. We come out and put the ball in the air, shocking KC who expected us to run in the weather. Then, we rip off three more TDs before the 4th quarter. KC scores in the third, and then puts up another in garbage time.

I also predict a Steers vs Falcons SB.

if the score looks like the 1st one, the patriots are going to cook us.

Im predicting 27-24 Steelers

Ben Roethlisberger: 23/35 237 yards, 2 TD's, 2 INT's
Leveon Bell: 29 carries/125 rushing yards, 8 receptions/64 receiving yards
Antonio Brown: 9 receptions, 113 receiving yards, 1 TD
Eli Rogers: 6 receptions, 74 receiving yards, 1 TD

Alex Smith: 24/38, 245 passing yards, 2 TD's
Spencer Ware: 23 carries, 86 rushing yards
Travis Kelce: 7 receptions, 106 receiving yards, 1 TD
Tyreek Hill: 4 carries/23 rushing yards, 6 receptions/88 receiving yards, 1 TD (Plus a punt return for a TD)

Run the ball . . . even though the Chiefs started stuffing up the middle and shutting down Bell?

Run the ball . . . even though we have the arguably the best receiver in the NFL and one of the best QBs in the NFL?

Run the ball . . . even though we needed more than three yards and a cloud of mediocrity in the last quarter? (see first line).

No. Run the ball. Pass the ball. Fake the run and pass. Fake the pass and run.

(and no, I'm not calling Bell's efforts tonight mediocre. I'm calling the fourth quarter run game mediocre because the Chiefs started playing a heavy run formation. )

The offense has stalled the last 2 games because we've become too dependent on the run. We need to mix it up so that when they start stacking the line, we can still move the ball. We need to keep Ben in the game.

I think both teams got screwed by the weather report. Both offenses looked bunkered in for a slog in the ice and rain. Then that didn't happen. Too late to install a new plan. Just glad Steelers gutted it out.

I thought the game plan was excellent, they just needed to finish those drives.

I guess Bos will get another "random" drug test after this game.

I did to. I just meant that both teams left yards and points on the field in the passing game. I think both coaching staffs figured that ball control and running were going to be the keys and the weather was going to simply prevent passing.
