Awesome run, but I gotta give it to the blocking their and def. Johnson's block to give Mendy that beautiful gap and Mendy did the rest!

Man. If not for this run, Wallace's long catch and Troy's pic; this would have been the most boring game I've seen in a long time...

Very nice run by Mendy. Him and Redman kept wearing down that defense and it finally paid off at the end.

Amazing blocking by everyone on this play, especially the right side of Adams, Heath, Ward, and Johnson. Also, Atlanta's safety that was unblocked made a terrible play by running forward and allowing Mendenhall to run right past him.

I saw that too, it looked like Johnson was blocking his guy and the safety ran into them. 2 for 1! Awesome run. I woke up my napping wife and son celebrating that play.

Agreed. No way that game was boring. I love watching the defense smack guys around!

If it works even one time a game it's in my playbook. They stayed with it,and showed patience. It payed off at the most opportune time.

I assume you meant Troy's pick, not pic. :D

That play is called "22 double".

It is no coincidence that the team that made the big plays, won. That's how it usually works in the NFL. That is why you draft athletes who are football players and playmakers.

Let's not forget that Redman converted 3/4's of our 3rd down conversions! Which isn't saying much (we were 4/11) but still :chuckle:

I figured this would be the best place to ask this, does anyone have Hillgrove's call of Mendenhall's TD?

I meant the audio highlights from our local broadcaster Bill Hillgrove. I apologize if I didn't make myself clear enough. I appreciate the quick reply though.
