Alan Faneca and Hines Ward nominated as Hall of Fame semifinalists

Grats to both! I don't have any ideas of Ward making it in his first year but I really hope that Faneca gets in this year.

Considering our chances at a championship this year, I'd say if both get in that might be good enough for me. Go Hines! :tt02:

I'd love to see them both get in, but I don't think Hines will get it this year...Bruce, Holt and Owens are other WR candidates and every media nudnik loved the greatest show on turf. Owens should be an automatic but he wasn't embraced by the media...unless it was in a villainous way. So I think 2 of those WRs may get in, Hines being paired with someone in the "out" group. But here's to believing!! I'm kinda surprised he made it to the semifinals this year.

Faneca has a pretty good chance to be a lineman...but again as we've seen in the past, some of these media guys have a biased about putting Steelers in the HOF...
