View Full Version : Do the Steelers give the Browns their first win next week?

Remember it's at Cleveland. The Steelers stink on the road and are fully capable of losing to anyone. Even the Browns. The Steelers are playing with no confidence. The coaching staff couldn't out coach a staff made up of Rich Kotite, Mike Singletary, Chip Kelly, Joe Bugel and Kevin Gilbride. I'm thinking the stains come away with the win and the Steelers slide to a 5 or 6 win season continues. :peep:

I don't think so. Although I wouldn't be surprised. I think because of the loss tonight, they'll win against Cleveland in Cleveland...but it would be typical of Tomlin's teams to play down and lose on the road. They play the Browns, Colts, Giants and Bills. 2-2?

Either that or they finally start playing with some urgency now that they're under .500, and play from behind the eight ball for the rest of the season. Kinda like 2013.

Then get booted in the first round? I'd rather just go out now and take 3rd place in the division. This team isn't going anywhere anytime soon...maybe 2018...

Here's what we can expect
A loss
4 or more turnovers
Cleveland taking a double digit lead in the 4th
No touchdowns until the 4th
Shitty browns players having career games

I doubt it.

I think they will beat the Browns though.

If they lose this game, Tomlin has lost this team...this game will be a huge tell.

I wouldn't put it past them at this point.

I could see the only two wins for the Browns this year coming from the Steelers.

C'mon. It's the Browns. We could play poor until the two minute warning of the foruth quarter and they would still find a way to lose.

We're bad, but not that bad.

If we beat the Cowboys, we would absolutely lose to the Browns.

Now, it is hard to tell. Is this going to be Redemption Sunday part 5?

Vegas agrees

Various sportstbooks open Steelers as 8&1/2 to 9&1/2 point favorites

You have not seen this team on the road this season.

No, I can actually see them going on a little run in the next few games. But we certainly need to clean up the BS penalties and put in their best efforts going forward.

With threads like this, what is the point of coming on here to talk actual 'FOOTBALL'?

Wait, almost forgot to respond to the thread title........NO!

Weren't we favored similarly in Miami?

In 2009 Tomlin's defending Super Bowl champion Steelers were cruising along at 6-2 at the midway point of their season. They then proceeded to go on a 5 game slide that eliminated them from playoff contention. In this 5 game slide they lost 3 games to teams that finished over 10 games under .500. Last season we lost to a 5-11 Raven team (3-11 if you subtract the Steelers wins) qb'd by Ryan Mallet. The precedent is there. The question is legitimate to those who understand the history of this teams road struggles under Tomlin.

20-18 Steelers.

43 - 9, our defense holds them to 3 FG, Bell has 200 all purpose yards and Ben throws 4 TD. The next week Ben throws his usual 5 or 6 TD's against Indianapolis and this offense starts rolling like a god damn steamroller.

No, I don't think so. This team will be looking to prove something this week. It think we'll blow them out.

Hopefully not. But flip a coin, there's no telling which team is going to show up for us.

The steelers will win especially after what happened last week 31-10.

I think Ben has a good record in Ohio.
