Ok here's your chance to put your money ( figurative sense I'm not covering bets, go to Vegas for that  ) where your mouth is. 4-2. Patriots coming up. Injuries mounting. But perhaps some relief on the way with the bye. Anyway what say you? I'm going 11-5. In the long run I think things will work out. I think Haley and Tomlin will wake up and realize now that the offense has to funnel through LeVeon Bell. Or at least for road games where Ben has struggled (outside of Ohio) for the past 3 seasons.

The defense needs to force more turnovers. Maybe getting Shazier back will help here?

Anyway I thiink we lose one in the division ( at most) add that to our existing 4 wins and we're up to 8. I think we match up well against the Colts and we squeak one out against the Bills. There's 10.

So we either beat the Cowboys or Patriots ( both in Pgh) and we got 11. Disagree if you like, but I'm on record. 11-5 it is.

10-6 the same as I predicted before the season. Two things we had to know:

1) We'd lose to a couple of bottom feeders (Tomlin's signature)
2) Ben would get injured and miss 2-4 games

That said, we can still win it all, if we get healthy and hot and the end of the year.

I put 11-5 but really the post above has me worried. For all intents and purposes, this is the same exact team as last year, with the same exact shortcomings and the same shitty number of injuries and suspensions.

Yeah, we kind of tried to address the shortcomings, but none of those guys are ready. If Bell gets hurt again, this season could be on the EXACT same track.

9-7 might be enough to win the division this year.

Whatever it takes to get into the playoffs.

Ben tends to coast until we are under dogs.

This is another 9-10 win squad this year.

The farce in Miami proves that this team isn't ready to be dominant. They're talented and good, but not great.

We've been winning 2 games for every 1 we lose, and seeing as we still have to play Cleveland 2 times, 11-5 seems realistic at this point. However, a longer absence of Ben or an injury hangover could easily drop that to 10-6 or worse.

10-6 if Landry can go .500 and assuming Ben misses 4 game weeks. Wild Card berth.

They have yet to show they can consistently attack defenses. It's a coin flip

We have the talent to win it all.

They have the talent for sure, but not the toughness or the killer instinct mentality to gut out a win. They're too jekyll and hyde at this point.

We are inconsistent as hell. You couldn't bet on this team from 1 week to another. We lose to bottom feeder's. When we should put a team away, we get conservative and either lose the game or come close to it. Sorry, I do agree this team has awesome talent, but for some reason our coaching staff can't put the 'kill' attitude' in them. I hate to bring up the N.E. team or coaching staff, but when they face a bottom feeder they pretty much dominate and destroy. In my opinion.

If low percentage plays are working the Steelers will usually win or play well. If the low percentage plays aren't working the Steelers will usually lose or struggle. The Steelers cannot methodically march down field. They cannot impose their will on defenses. The Steelers offense and defense is incongruous. It has been that way for quite awhile. Is it poor coaching or lack of talent? I think it's more of a coaching problem. Say what you will about Belichick, but he usually has the Patriots running smoothly. This is not to say the Steelers do not lack talent. They do need upgrades in the secondary, LT and OLB positions.

I once pegged 9-10 wins.

Now it will be a miracle if they reach 7 or 8.

If Ben makes it back for the Dallas game I'll stick with 11-5. If not then it's hard to see Landry winning that one and I'll go down to 10-6.

You guys do realize that was the #1 seed in the AFC at the halfway point of the season. We are significantly undermanned and stood a very real chance of beating them today. Bye week now, then we beat the Ravens. I like where this is going.

This team's ceiling is what the Redskins and Texans were last year, 9-7, default winner in a weak division, and embarrassing home wildcard loss, and that is just the ceiling. This team could easily miss entirely. The defense is soft as hell, no one can stay healthy, missed opportunities continue, lethargy on the road persists, plus they are bound to lose at least one more game to a vastly inferior team

IMO, with the talent in this team and who they've played, this team should be 5-1 as is...loss being yesterday against the Pats. That Eagles loss and Dolphins loss in the road should have easily been wins.

Tell that to the Vikings. I agree we should have beat Miami, that was an inexcusable loss that I blame almost entirely on Haley and Ben for their unwillingness to play to what the Dolphins defense was giving them.

The Eagles however have a very good defense and are very tough in their own building. Not saying we couldn't have won that game. But imo if we played them 7 times in "The Linc" we would lose at least 3 and more likely 4 times there.

Those losses should have easily been wins, yet the Steelers were blown out in both those games.

What was the record against teams below .500, I think I saw a 5-11 record? Pitiful.

Miami's game is the killer game, will haunt us big time. Pathetic.

I won't really argue that but the Steelers Offense is very good. They should be able to handle the Eagles defense.

A loss to the Eagles, NFC, won't mean much toward a playoff spot. Losing to the Dolphins and the Pats, AFC, will. Better record wins out though, so let's just do it that way.

Kaloby skewed those stats.

For example, he included the loss to the 1-4 Chiefs, who made the playoffs (11-4).
