A WR with a broken hand. Not good at all. At least he should come back full strength. Almost seems like players are finding ways to take themselves out of the lineup in Cleveland.

LOL, it just never ends for the Browns.
We should trade them for a pick. They should be drafting in the top 3 next year.

I know it's cool to make fun, but............. IF they give Hue 3 more years and stay out of it, he will make them a contender.

I'd like to think so too but IMO seems more like an organizational issue. Players are leaving as soon as they can. Just looks like there is much, much more to their problems than a coach can fix.

Find the Browns fan in your life and give them a hug

Just quit it.
You've made your point, Football Gods. We get it. You hate the Browns.
Frankly, we're in overkill territory now. We've been there for some time, in fact. But now it's just getting ridiculous. Here's a quick recap of the last 15 days in Cleveland:
» Carson Wentz beats Browns
» RGIII hurts shoulder, goes to IR
» Josh McCown hurts shoulder, confronts football mortality
» Carson Wentz beats Bears, positions self as OROY favorite
» Big Ben (who was passed on by the Browns) says he's surprised Browns passed on Carson Wentz
» Josh Gordon arrest warrant issued
» Corey Coleman breaks hand in practice
None of that is made up. All that bad stuff happened to the Browns. There was more stuff, too, like promising third-round pick Carl Nassib breaking his hand, Cameron Erving being raced to a hospital with a bruised lung and, oh yeah, the Browns blowing a 20-point lead in a loss to the Ravens, the two-time Super Bowl champion franchise who used to be the Browns.
If you know a Browns fan, call them tonight. Tell them that you're thinking of them. Tell them it's all going to be OK. Even if you both know that may not be the case.

Hue deserves better than this.
I think firing Hue would actually benefit him. There is no hope for that team.

Wasn't Hue one of the main factors behind that bone head trade for Carson Palmer to the Raiders?

When you suck as bad as the Browns have for such a long time, you can't keep harping blame on the coaches or the quarterbacks.
It's an organizational/ownership issue. The Pirates were a dumpster fire for twenty years because they were run by people who had no clue whatsoever how to build a winning team. The Browns are just run by incompetence, and there is no coach that can fix it.

I agree. I like Hue as a coach but he can't fix all of the organizational problems with the Browns. They've had all of these high draft picks and yet they still suck.
When you fire a bunch of your scouts because they're all suggesting that you draft Carson Wentz, that's just ridiculous. The Browns have proven year after year that they're just a completely dysfunctional organization. I doubt if Hue even lasts for 3 years.

Ownership is relatively new...same issues.

If it wasn't for bad luck, the Browns wouldn't have any luck at all.
I think it works best when a coach and a front office work together. The coach tells the FO what kind of offensive/defensive system he wants to run, and the the FO identifies guys that fit that system and draft/sign those players. And while I don't think the coach should have veto power over the FO (in most cases), I think they should consult the coach on any player they're thinking about adding to the team simply because it's the coaches that deal with the players on a daily basis, not the front office. If a coach thinks a player isn't coachable or isn't going to fit the system that's being run, it should be taken into account.
I don't know if that's neccissarily how they're running it, but I feel that the way I described is usually the best. They can fix the team, but they're going to have to change the culture in that locker room. They're going to have to get the players to actually believe this FO and HC are here to see this through and won't be gone in a year or two. And the only way to do that is to not blow everything up in a year or two, something Haslam hasn't shown the patience to do.

What if this is all apart of the tanking conspiracy?? 5 rec 104 yards and 2 TD..."Corey that is too good, break your hand today so we are more likely to get a high draft pick."
With all jokes aside this does suck and I hate to see him injured. They really could be good in a few years but they can't fire their coaches every 6 seconds. Have faith in the guy you hired and stick with him for 3-5 years to allow him to build a roster.
I think they are learning that and will stick with Hue.
