No Burfict = no fights

Anyone else notice how the announcers would periodically talk about how this was surprisingly tame compared to last year's games, with less "extracurricular activity?"

Well, it's pretty obvious. It's not a rivalry and they don't hate each other by nature; it's all the result of ONE ASSHOLE who constantly goes around trying to start fights and take cheap shots after the play. No Burfict, you get a normal game of football. With him, it's an avalanche of stupid shit, 50 times a game. I wish there was a way for them to "extend" his suspension, as in, like, permanently. The guy adds nothing to the game.

The Bengals actually played like a tough team today, and not like a bunch of chumps like last year. I gained more respect for them after this game.

Burfuck does absolutely nothing for them. And neither does Marvin Lewis.

I mean, I think most of their players aren't normally assholes, but Burfict is SUCH an asshole that he makes other players act that way too. Today it was just a regular game - pretty intense, and well played considering the poor conditions. Dude is just toxic to his team and everyone else.

It's the loser mentality in Cinci. It's always the refs fault. Maybe have a better 3rd down conversion rate than 4-16 so you don't have to depend on the refs.

I'm watching the Rams/Seahawks game right now and just watched Sherman blatantly grab a Rams receiver before the ball got there but yet there was no flag thrown.

Burfict is lower than pond scum. I'm not shocked this game didn't get out of hand. But when he's back for the next matchup in Cincinnati, especially since the players and their shitastic fans will be blaming the refs for this loss, I expect things to not go so well.
