They lost in week 1 and the postgame was like a funeral. Mularkey was a TERRIBLE choice for HC.
Mariota looks like he has the weight of the world on his shoulders! All doom and gloom after losing to a very good Minnesota team.
Their locker room is like a funeral home. Mariota has no OL and no WRs. Tennessee has great RBs and no OL. What a mess.

Don't forget they have Antwon Blake now too. :chuckle:

Well if I had Antwon Blake as my corner, I'd be pretty depressed too.

The Titan's D gave up 9 points. Mariota threw a pick6 and fumbled a handoff for a scoop and score by the Vikings. The Titan's Oline was terrible. They just spent first/early round picks on Oline the last 5 drafts. '12 Martin, '13 Warmack, '14 Lewan, '15 Poutasi, '16 Conklin. Whatever criteria they use to evaluate OLine talent does not work.

That's why you build your O-Line through Free Agency, not the draft.
On occasion you'll hit a home run like David Decastro, but that's it.
Good observation. A top 10 LT will always go if available, but hopefully we never sniff a top 10 pick.

Don't forget, we were in a similar situation until Munchak showed up. It is simply amazing to see how basically the same set of guys went from duds to so-so, to good and very good. Gilbert showed the most improvement and look at what he has done with the Big V project.
