Seems like an awful lot to give up for Bradford. Vikings were desperate.

Sure they did. Bradford's not the only QB on the planet. They could've also just stuck with Sean Hill, who wouldn't be much worse than Bradford. Their offense runs through Peterson anyway, not the QB.

Giving up a first and a fourth for Bradford is just crazy.

The big winner is Cleveland, They'll definitely get a shot to get Deshaun Watson now.

I'd rather have tanked the season and got a high pick in the 17 draft. Chances are they'll be mediocre (at best) with Bradford and expect the pick they give the
eagles to be in the 12-18 range.

 Imagine that happens, then they end up forfeiting a top 10 choice for nothing!

The Vikings have too much talent to tanked the season.Maybe Bradford is not the answer, but if this is the case, it was the move to do for the Vikings.

The Vikings have a very good running game with AP,a very good defense which can be great this year, they just need a passing game that is just good enough to be a threat in the NFC.

For the eagles....

Glassman's last chance. If he does well the Vikings recoup and trade him next season. If he gets injured or busts then it's the glue factory for him.

This is old hat for the Vikings who traded a kings ransom to make the cowboys the team of the 90's. They traded a crap load of draft picks to get Herschel Walker, never really used him correctly and then ended up trading him back to the cowboys a few years later.

Is Bradford that much better then Sanchez? I mean a 1st round pick!?

They could have tried to sign Sanchez when he gets released. They must really think their Superbowl window is closing and AP is starting downhill if they think they are in must win mode.

No. Sanchez stinks...but at least he's on the field...

It's bad enough that they are giving up a 1st and a 4th for a stopgap who is only there to relieve their starting QB who is out for the year, but when you consider that the guy they replaced him with is made out of glass and is guaranteed to get injured at some point in the year, I really do not get it. What are they going to do when Bradford goes down with an injury?

No. Sanchez stinks...but at least he's on the field...

Sanchez has been carried to the playoffs before with a top tier supporting cast, and Teddy B himself wasn't the one driving the bus to the playoffs himself last year. They have AP at RB and a defense loaded with young talent

I think some of the desperation comes from the fact that it is being reported that Bridgewater may not be ready for next season either. The Vikings are a team built to compete now...they really just lack a nice QB. If Bradford can come in, STAY HEALTHY and manage some games, they could compete. Now will he stay healthy? Probably not. But that's probably where the desperation comes from and why they gave up those picks...way too much...IMO.

Exactly what I'm thinking. That injury was gruesome and sounds like it will take a long rehab period to be back healthy.

Bradford still sucks and the Vikings won't go too far in the playoffs w/him.
