Read up a bit on Renner. Has the one trait that has proven to be the best predictor of NFL QB success - accuracy. Saw a few sites that argued if he was a bit bigger he might've has a third or fourth round grade coming out last year.

Long story short, better roll of the dice than most other options. Flynn's arm is shot? Yates is broken, and the others listed aren't even competent quarterbacks.

But I would've called Freeman.

Sanchez is as bad or worse than Landry. Landry has gone from totally putrid to almost don't have to cover your eyes when he plays. Sanchez has regressed to just turn off the tv.

I see your point. But that was almost two full years ago. He got beat out soundly this preseason by a guy with no NFL experience and a raw rookie for the backup spot.
