Former two-time All-Pro says “this is the best I’ve felt in a long time.” Nevertheless, Mike Tomlin says he’ll be watched closely.
Maurkice Pouncey turned 27 on Sunday and officially entered the prime of his career. The former two-time All-Pro who missed two of the past three seasons with injuries, including last season with a leg injury, is eager to get back to work Friday when the Steelers practice for the first time.
Pouncey doesn’t want any restrictions to his workload this summer, but Mike Tomlin said this spring that he will be watched closely.
“This is the best I’ve felt in a long time,” Pouncey said. “I had a lot of time for my body to recover.”........
