Looks like AB is going to have a new Porsche at the end of the season... #Steelers (https://twitter.com/hashtag/Steelers?src=hash) #BusinessIsBooming

Is AB going to spot Marshall 40 receptions???

Otherwise, it won't be close.

Marshall's just drunk on the Fitz signing. Over 300 yards less than AB last season and that was with Ben missing 4.5 games. If anything, Marshall's numbers will go down with the Jets signing Forte. They'd be foolish to not make him a major part of the passing game.

I don't like this. Focus on winning the game. I don't want to see Brown whining again about not getting enough touches.

I think the NFL will come down before this gets out of control and people are betting wives.

I would probably bank on Fitzpatrick not duplicating the year he had in '15 especially with a MUCH tougher schedule, especially defensively speaking

I think they can be motivational.

This time next year, such bets will be against NFL rules. You watch.

Agreed. More than that, he needs to focus on helping the team win the Super Bowl. I love AB, but I'm really getting tired of all the "extracurricular" BS he gets involved in.

In a team game, betting on individual accomplishments can get in the way and cause a lot of stress on and off the field.

This kind of bullshit has to stop with AB.

What happens if he feels he isn't being used enough?

What happens if Ben gets hurt again?

Is he going to have a meltdown and show up quarterbacks again if he isn't getting the "stats" he thinks he should be?

Not much good can come from this.

Time to check the air pressure between AB's ears.

I don't have a problem with these types of bets but keep it off Instagram.

Have you seen Erik Decker's wife though? For real. :tt03:

As a matter of fact, Erik Decker, I challenge you. If I can't make it into the NFL by the end of 2016, I get your wife. If I am signed by a team by the end of 2016 football season, you get mine.

If I lose, I get:

If I win, Erik gets:

Did AB actually accept the bet? I didn't think that he did as his RR is about tripple the value of that porsche.

Betting is Illegal technically, and Marshall has no legit legal obligation to pay up...but I think Antonio's solution to have him give, or the value of the car to his charity is a nice idea. And I doubt the authorities or the Commish will have a problem with it.

when does anyone in a bet have the legal obligation to pay? It's never about legalities. The question is whether or not AB accepted the bet.

This is the same league that made the Chiefs add a bottle of wine to their salary cap after Morton Anderson broke the all time scoring record.

So hopefully AB and the #Steelers escape Adolph's wrath.

He did, he told Marshall to mail him the pink slip or donate the car to a charity he listed.

I got that part..

Marshall challenged AB for most receiving yards. If AB didn't accept the bet at the time, he can't come back at the end of the season and say he won the bet because he never accepted and therefore was never a bet.. what I don't know is if AB took it or not

I'm pretty sure he did. I can't find the tweet though.

And he was born in Pittsburgh. And, the subject of trade rumors.

Marshall quickly responded, saying that he would donate to value of his Porsche (which Marshall estimates is about $100,000), to his charity, Project375.

None of which involved The Steelers.

Yet.

If Bryant fucks up again? They have to get a veteran WR. If anything his honoring the bet shows he's matured a tad. The OLD Brandon Marshall would have made an excuse not to pay up.

Wrong. They'll have plenty of veterans on the roster. No need to get an over the hill problem child.

So you think he went from NFL TD leader to over the hill in one year?

So you think he went from NFL TD leader to over the hill in one year?

Yeah he's on the decline. Not worth the headache...there's a reason he's been on so many teams in so few years. Much better going after Alston Jeffrey if you are going to spend $7.5M on a veteran WR.

Andre Johnson. Star one day, over the hill the next. Pretty much happened around the same time.

No thanks.

In 2011, Marshall was diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), and has since become an advocate for awareness around mental illness.

yup no thanks. jets can keep him.

At least he's admitted he's mental.

That was a 2-0 fastball right down the pipe though. LOL

Either the Haley's are mental or they are the unluckiest people on Earth.

Marshall announced on Wednesday's edition of Inside the NFL he will donate the value of his Porsche, roughly $100,000, to Project375. He also joked that Brown had an unfair advantage in playing with Ben Roethlisberger

Only one way to fix that now is there?

Jets WR Brandon Marshall: 'I'm a Steelers fan'

Didn't know he was from Pittsburgh. He should start a Fan Club with Joe Montana. :chuckle:
