Wake me when Ben R. manages to beat a league-mandated suspension by going to the Supreme Court.

Or getting evidence deliberately destroyed in a investigation to get their head coach and team off the hook.

Get a "pass" in terms of what? No specifics named at all.

So I'm just going to chalk it up to this "team executive" being a total ***** and ignore it.

Breaking the huddle, some Rooneys ready to give up shares in Steelers

...The latest changes in ownership had their basis in that 2009 restructuring ordered by the NFL to come into compliance with league rules that prohibited owner involvement with gambling interests — several Rooney brothers have or had ownership stakes in horse and dog tracks — and also mandated a 30 percent stake in the team by one entity.

And in the meantime...

Investors Jerry Jones & The Kraft Group Defend Daily Fantasy Sports

...NFL Teams are not allowed to invest in DFS sites, however, their owner groups can. Both Jerry Jones from the Dallas Cowboys and The Kraft Group of the New England Patriots have invested in DraftKings. Jones said he would not discuss the business model because he is not involved in the day-to-day goings on at DraftKings. Nonetheless, he strongly defended and supported DFS as a whole.
