On Thursday, the Pittsburgh Steelers will report to Saint Vincent College in Latrobe for the start of training camp and later that afternoon, most of the players are likely to be asked to participate in the team’s annual run test. After that concludes, head coach Mike Tomlin is expected to hold his first training camp press conference and at that time announce the list of players who will start off on PUP.

While the Steelers list of physically unable to perform players doesn’t figure to be very long this year, there will still likely be a few notable names on it and here is a look at the several potential candidates.......

Yeah, that was pretty good. :chuckle:

Anyways, the first three on the list (Le'Veon, Ladarius, and Travis Feeney) will probably be on the PUP to start out. The other guys listed should be healthy enough at this point to start practicing.

Maybe a short suspension is better for Bell (trying to look at the bright side of this crap) so he can be 100% when he hits the field for his first game and can hopefully dominate through the Superbowl!

Ladarius Green starts on PUP list for Steelers

Posted by Mike Florio on July 28, 2016

With Heath Miller retired, the Steelers need a competent tight end to enhance their offense. They signed Ladarius Green to be that guy.

The official launch of the Ladarius Era has been delayed. Via multiple reports, Green has been placed on the Physically Unable to Perform list, with an ankle injury. He had offseason surgery on that ankle.

Receiver Shakim Phillips also in on the PUP list, after having a sports hernia repaired. Defensive tackle Devaunte Sigler begins on the shelf due to failing the conditioning test.
