Sounds like there's at least some mild disappointment from Cowboys fans over the prospect of losing him ... they're at least calling him a decent rotational player. Much less alarming than what Chargers fans were saying about Cam Thomas, which is basically the same "lol, have fun with that, SUCKERS!" that we were saying about Antwon Blake.

I guess we probably need at least one guy like this as a free agent, because we just don't have enough DL players on the roster anymore, and the odds of us drafting two good ones who can join the rotation immediately are not very high. Just have to cross our fingers that whoever we sign is closer to a Larry Foote signing than a Cam Thomas signing.

That all sounds about right. Would also fit with Colbert's tendency to go into the draft with as few "holes" on the roster as possible.

Also bet he fits with the other signings this offseason and would cost next to no actual money.
