I like this guy. SS Miles Killebrew ...nice last name and interesting kid.

What a description... "World-class form tackler with bad intentions behind his strikes" and how about this..."Violent player who looks to punish and intimidate with the force of his strikes, but who won't compromise his form as a tackler just for the highlight reel hit"

Honestly, after watching that, I don't think there's anything too special about him. Most of his INTs were overthrows to his position. A couple he tracked long, but didn't have to contest for them. Also, he doesn't really have any closing speed. Every time he closed for a hit, either the guy was held up, or he had a large head start as the play was telegraphed and the ball hung in the air.

He seems like a good, solid college player that doesn't make many mistakes, but doesn't necessarily have the speed or talent at the next level.

He'll be gone by the end of R2

Killebrew racked up an astounding 243 tackles over the past two seasons, including 132 as a senior to go with 2.5 tackles for loss, seven pass break-ups and another seven passes defended. He is a four-year starter who started 11 games as a freshman and finished third on the team with 69 sacks, and Killebrew followed that up with honorable mention All-Big Sky honors in 2013 by recording 54 tackles, including 4.5 tackles for loss.
An area scout told NFL.com's Daniel Jeremiah in November that he thinks Killebrew is a better football player coming out of college than Shaq Thompson (Carolina Panthers) and Deone Bucannon (Arizona Cardinals), two first-round picks, were when they entered the draft.

If the Steelers had a FS like Ryan Clark, then YES.

A player like Killebrew is already on the team (wearing #23).

I would rather move Mitchell to SS, and draft a FS.
