It is comical how few of these guys actually take the time to understand the cap stuff and sequencing of the league year. Kaboly and others probably just write that off as "nerd stuff" and go back to spewing their usual nonsense.

Oh, now i feel stupid. Kaboly still tweets a lot of interesting stuff and he's always been pretty spot on with what happens

Not your fault. We don't get paid to do this! These guys do and they still can't get it right all the time. I'm just jealous that I have to actually work to make the few bucks I do.

The change in cap $$ listed for the Steelers by the NFLPA that some observed today was simply their report switching over from 2015 to 2016.

The cap turned out to be about $3M higher than the original word on the street, plus Heath Miller retiring took his $4M or so base salary off the books and a lot of people probably forgot to account for that. That roughly adds up to the $7M difference.

That clown has been mailing it in for YEARS now. I can't believe how many people still lend him any credibility whatsoever.

I think the "Rona Barrett of the Steelers" is well past due for yet another article that stirs up the Roethlisberger/Haley "feud" again.

I am really not a Kaboly fan. He does that best hour of the week segment with David Todd on ESPN Pittsburgh and he just isn't very good. Such an amateur.
