Amazing Career!

Manning has always been one of the most enjoyable QB to watch for me.

It was time. Great career. Next stop Canton in 2021

Shocking. He lost the ball the last 2 of 3 pass attempts in the SB. He might have a few more quarters left in his arm spread across several games. He's the stat king in the regular season, but he is over rated.

He will be a first ballot HoF, but it was nauseous listening to the announcers two years ago before the Broncos got blown out that he was the best ever and every game you were watching history. That's just not true and a complete media fabrication.

Peyton has been fun to watch and ONE of the best QB's to play the game. He has his warts, just like all the rest, but certainly deserving of a first ballot HOF induction.

And...hopefully a little higher asking price on the signed Superbowl MVP Manning helmet that Russ and I are holding on to for 5 more years. :heh:

:iagree:

Now get Brady out of there and I'll be happy. I'm beyond sick of the knobslobbing they both get.

Easy first ballot Hall of Famer. Easy Top-5 QB of All-Time.

Top 5 all time, no way. Top 12 maybe.

Who is better? Montana, Brady and who? Marino? Maybe. Elway? Not even close. Favre? No. Unitas, Graham? No.

It's not serious.

Manning is easily a top 5 QB of all-time.

I've always been a fan of Peyton. He was a great QB. I'm glad that he decided to retire because he just isn't the same player that he used to be. Top 5 IMO.

Top 5 definitely

Lol what?

Manning is a 5 time MVP(most in NFL history), 2x super champion(one SB MVP) and holds the NFL records in career passing yards, passing yards in a season, career TDs & passing TD's in a season.

Playoff wins? Only Brady and Montana have more.

He's a top 3 QB of all time for sure. Could make the case as the best ever.

Who is better? Montana, Brady and who? Marino? Maybe. Elway? Not even close. Favre? No. Unitas, Graham? No.

Personally, I'd put Unitas over any QB today.

Why? 47 straight games with at least one TD pass in an era (1956-60) when NFL football was a running game to the extent of being the complete opposite of what it is today, DBs could literally mug WRs all over the field, and there were literally no QB protection rules. And nobody really came close to that mark until Brees finally broke it in 2012.

Frankly, the only 2 QBs I could see from the last 20+ years or so that could have physically hacked the abuse that QBs routinely took in Unitas' day were (maybe) Favre and Roethlisberger.

Just my opinion.

Everybody knew he was going to retire, but he didn't need to cry about it on camera. Some rags don't even rank Bradshaw in the Top-10 all time anymore.
