NFL Nation reporters from the AFC North -- Jeremy Fowler, Coley Harvey, Jamison Hensley and Pat McManamon -- have reviewed the film and sorted through the analytics to determine the 2015 annual awards for the division. On Friday, we hand out the AFC North most valuable player.

Winner: Ben Roethlisberger (http://espn.go.com/nfl/player/_/id/5536/ben-roethlisberger)
Runner-up: Antonio Brown

Brown gave 136 reasons why he's an MVP candidate. Andy Dalton (http://espn.go.com/nfl/player/_/id/14012/andy-dalton) had the league's second-highest passer rating before a thumb injury derailed his season.

But Ben Roethlisberger was clearly the catalyst for the AFC North's best offense. He earned his divisional MVP award with playmaking ability that few matched in 2015............

I'll buy that. Would be interesting to see a defensive player on the Steelers breakthrough next season to win that accolade.

On the team, Brown is MVP. To the Division, Ben is the MVP and Brown is second.

Interesting.

We all saw what happened to AB's numbers when Ben wasn't playing. Ben is the straw that stirs the drink.

I'm just surprised that Ben gets any accolades at all. The guy has been a beast for 12 years and were it not for his off field shenanigans a few years ago, something that he did pay a price for, he would be the elite QB in the league right now.

I would be extremely surprised if he ever wins a league MVP or a SB MVP, even if he throws for 6,000 yards or if he throws 4 TDs in an SB.

No doubt Ben is the most important player, but Brown was the best player of the Steelers last year.I blame Vick for the lack of production of Brown when the steelers was without Ben.

Vick was so bad it was ridiculous

The Steelers need Ben playing to have any success, that is sure. He is most vital to the success to this team, and the fact that AB's numbers dipped in Ben's absence would have me put Ben above AB
