Former Baltimore Ravens coach-turned-commentator Brian Billick suggested Thursday that Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger may be exaggerating how bad his shoulder injury is.

"There's no one tougher than Ben Roethlisberger by far in the NFL, but he's a drama queen," Billick said Thursday during an appearance on Denver's 104.3 The Fan, per Jason Garcia of FOX Sports.

"He's gonna come out on that field. That arm's gonna be limp. It's going to look like he can't even lift it. Then he's going to crank off a 60-yard bomb to Martavis Bryant. Then he'll carry it back into the huddle, holding it like it's in a sling, and then he'll crank off a 40-yarder to Antonio Brown."

Billick prefers qb's that can throw the ball through the goal posts from midfield on their knees. :chuckle:

Kinda funny how Billick was touted as an "offensive genius" yet the Ravens' offense sucked for years when he was their HC...

I'm not gonna be upset at a guy for making a completely true statement. Ben is often a bit dramatic with his injuries, but he's also the toughest QB in the NFL. True statement, no need to attack the Billick's personality.

That being said I do think this injury scared Ben a bit more than others, and I don't think he was being dramatic about it this week. When you throwing arm gets injured in the highest stakes time of the year when nothing but great teams remain, it's going to be worrisome.

There was another wannabe MD claiming that Brown was faking a concussion earlier this week too.

"Then he'll carry it back into the huddle, holding it like it's in a sling, and then he'll crank off a 40-yarder to Antonio Brown."

Will he now? That I'd like to see since Brown won't even be playing. :coffee:

One of the most amazing happenstances in sports is that Boller managed to draw an NFL paycheck for 8 seasons!:toofunny:

Drama queens don't get their nose busted and bloodied and stay in the game. Ben is the toughest QB I've ever seen.

Ben only gets blasted for being a drama queen because he's willing to talk about how all those injuries feel. Anyone who knows anything knows he's the toughest QB in the league.

Ask the players. You don't hear them talking about him being dramatic, only how tough he is.
