I have attended a couple Steeler games in St. Louis and the locals were genuinely nice and gracious hosts. It sucks that they're losing their Rams to LA and I won't have cause to visit them anymore :(

True, but of any move, this is the one I would most want to see happen. Good to see a team going home.

Won't be long before they get the Jaguars there.

The Rams are going to Cleveland? That's where they started at. :willy:

Going back to LA to basically be ignored again...
If I was in St. Louis I would drop cheering for the Rams. I would not stand for any team ducking out. I would go back to following the Cardinals...

Pretty much every Rams fan that I've talked to has said that they will no longer cheer for the Rams. Quite a few of them are at the edge of being done with the NFL altogether. I'm sure that a lot of them will start supporting the Chiefs.
I considered the Rams to be my #2 team. I've cheered for them since I moved here in 2005 but I won't any more.

If I was in St. Louis I would've dropped cheering for the Rams even if they stayed. Except for three seasons with Kurt Warner, that has been one god-awful team even since before they left L.A.
25 almost continuous years of sucking. Say what you want about "fair-weather fans" or "Steelers fans are spoiled," but after that length of time, I would find it totally understandable if you decided other things were more interesting.

I think Super Bowl XIV was the first time I saw the whole "Pittsburgh fans travel well" being shown on TV. The Super Bowl was in Pasadena (Rose Bowl) basically a home game for the Rams. There were still so many Steelers fans there that day.

You obviously haven't watched the Rams much in recent years. While their overall record hasn't been good, I've enjoyed watching them because of their defense. They've got a lot of talent on that side of the ball and they're hard hitters. The kind of stuff that I love. Aaron Donald is just amazing.
This past year they added Todd Gurley and I've enjoyed watching him also. The passing game is nothing special but Tavon Austin is another player who's fun to watch.
Despite their 7-9 record, they beat Seattle twice and also beat Arizona in AZ. I think that with better coaching, they've got the talent to be a playoff team.
Both Janoris Jenkins and Trumaine Johnson are UFAs this offseason and I'd love to have either one on the Steelers but especially Johnson. 6' 2" 208 lbs with 7 Ints this season.

When will the NFL realize LA doesn't give a crap about Football? How many times can a team swap cities? No wonder they don't have any fans. Besides the easy fix is WIN games, doesn't matter where you put the team, if they WIN they will make money and be loved

I notice tons of empty seats at Steeler games. Can any Pittsburghers comment on fan support especially in light of this recent upheaval.

Actually, there have been a lot of empty seats at Steelers games in recent years (not so much this year). I was at the home game in December 2013 against Cincy and the announced attendance was a little over 45,000.
