Wallace's play will likely be one of the main keys to a successful deep playoff run or a short appearance. Wallace has been consistently dominated and abused, at least in the run game, by quality DTs. Really wish that we read an article later today that Pouncey was miraculously back at practice!

I don't know about you but I'm willing to overlook some of his "stupid" penalties in the tenacity and nastiness he brings to the game.

Those of us that have played the game know this nasty attitude is contagious and often times lights a fire in one's teammates asses. It's that warrior mentality that a player will do anything to get his team ahead. Very Hines-like. Big heart and motors!

That said, Wallace's attitude and nastiness should NOT be confused with thuglike behavior from Burfict and Suh. Those two clowns do cheap crap with the full intention of injuring opposing players. THAT is criminal intent IMHO ! Wallace is just nasty minded but nowhere near criminally minded.

I should add if players like Big Dan and Michael Adams had HALF the nasty attitude and tenacity as Wallace possesses they would BOTH be Pro-Bowlers !! Those two are way too soft. What a shame.

Wallace has that same nastiness and fight in him as Willie Colon. I was upset when Colon was left go. We need that mentality in this team.

BTW, that is our friend Burfict Willie and grinding into the ground !

I think Wallace's play has improved as the year has gone on. Ithink we were lucky to have him. Much better replacement than LeGursky was. Still though looking forward to Pouncet coming back.

As far as backup linemen go, I think he's been great. He hasn't done anything super from an individual standpoint, but the offensive line still functions while he's playing. The running game went for 1,700 yards, and Ben's not constantly under duress. In the context of a former third-stringer filling in for an All-Pro, that's a pretty damn good outcome. Yes, Munchak probably deserves a lot of credit for that too.

I really wouldn't count on him playing the rest of the year.

Some of the penalties I don't mind, but there have been a few I wanted to go kick his ass for

I'm not at all. Was just curious...we haven't really heard his name ever.
