The Steelers need to win this Sunday if they are going to advance to the playoffs and they’ll start their preparations for the Browns without their starting quarterback on the field.

According to multiple reports from Steelers practice, quarterback Ben Roethlisberger is going to miss Wednesday’s practice after being sent home with an illness.

There’s no word on the severity of the illness or if Roethlisberger is at any risk of missing more practice time this week, but it would seem like a good bet that he’ll be on the field when it counts given the amount of time before the game. While that outlook could change, Roethlisberger has made a habit of playing through a variety of ailments over the course of his career.

Roethlisberger is coming off a poor game against the Ravens, but, like his team, has had plenty of success against the Browns over the years.

It will probably be Austin Davis starting at QB on Sunday.

I watched him a lot last year with the Rams. He's easily rattled by pressure. We'll probably sit back in a soft zone the whole game.

Austin will have 435 yards 5 TD's and win OPOW.

Blake will start and allow 350 of those yards in the 1st half.

Austin Davis' statline, 25-32 for 309 3 TDs and 0 INTs. Steelers still wait til the 4th round to draft a CB in the draft

TOMLIN: Ben Riethlisberger was sent to the hospital.

MEDIA: The hospital??? What is it?

TOMLIN: It's a big, white building filled with doctors and patients, but that's not important right now.

TOMLIN: Ben went home sick.

MEDIA: We want to know absolutely everything that's happened up 'til now.

TOMLIN: First the Earth cooled. And then the dinosaurs came, but they got too big and fat, so they all died and they turned into oil. And then the Arabs came and they bought Mercedes Benzes...
