Keith Butler referred to Ryan Shazier as a "loudmouth." If you're talking about your in-laws coming to town for the holidays, that probably isn't a compliment. But in the football world, it's a positive thing. Speaking to the media on Thursday, Butler interestingly pointed out that Shazier is in charge of a large part of the communication on defense.........

I remember a story earlier this season or late last season that pretty much stated the same...that Shazier is the main guy. This is pretty much a recycled story. I think Timmons called most of last season?

i think Shazier made a mistake on that play. He called off Gay when Gay went to position himself across Sanders and then during th play shazier assumed he had safety help but obviously no one covered Sanders.

I think Farrior was the main communicator when he was here, if that's the case it makes sense that it's now Shazier and/or Timmons.

theres a good chance Timmons is done here because of his huge cap hit and the depth we have at ILB so id rather we keep working Shazier in like were doing right now. its nice to know vince williams has had experience doing it as well
