The only way to find a more abrupt turnaround the record crowd at Heinz Field witnessed Sunday would be to check out that little Charles Dickens saga all over TV this week, the one that features the memorable change of heart by Ebenezer Scrooge.

A few players credited outside linebackers coach Joey Porter with a fire-and-brimstone halftime speech in the middle of the locker room. “He was hot,” linebacker Jarvis Jones said. His basic message: “This isn’t Steelers defense!”
