Wow, getting Pouncey back fully healthy for a playoff run would be nice, maybe a couple weeks of increasing playing time against the Browns and Ravens so the OL is comfortable again playing with each other would be great. DW will be stoked at the new bigger running lanes he will be getting also. This season is just getting better and better as it goes.

Here we go Steelers!

Oh wait, is this a poker play or 007 mind games?

It would be nice to have him back...you know...just to potentially lose him the week before the Super Bowl...

Yea right. I haven't even heard about him practicing with the first team or any shit like that.Be a shame to just plug him in at this point. I like where we are right now.To me he is a very valuable back-up for now.

Normally, continuity is the primary factor for an O-line.

But, Pouncey is 10 times better than Wallace.

There are certain runnun go plays (where Pouncey pulls), that aren't even on the agenda unless Pouncey plays. Playbook aside, even in stright up blocking, Pouncey is far, far better than Wallace. Pouncey could take this offense from great to championship-level.

I think I'd let Pouncey sit out till next year or keep him as a backup. He's going to be rust and I can't think Wallace is doing that bad of a job. Ben isn't taking sacks and Williams is getting yards.

As long as he doesnt say it was a booboo we know he could come back any minute now

My thoughts are if he is able to come back say for the last 2 games and start getting some reps then we should use him, or if we play the AFCS as our first playoff game we put him in to get the rust off against teams where it won't matter as much, but if we get to round 2 of the playoffs and he hasn't played, maybe use him as our backup and not mess with the continuity.

I guess we'll probably never know how serious that setback was. I'm really wondering if he might have had a staph infection.
