Cardinals look pretty decent. Palmer has to be in the conversation for MVP.

Palmer will be in the conversation for MVP, but if the Panthers go undefeated that honor is going to go to Cam Newton.

Looks like Andy Dalton could be out all year:

Sources: Andy Dalton likely out for season with fractured thumb

CINCINNATI -- Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton is likely to miss the rest of the season because of a right thumb injury, team sources told ESPN's Bob Holtzman.

Dalton suffered a fractured thumb in Sunday's loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers, but the Bengals are uncertain how long he will be sidelined.

After the Steelers beat the Bengals in an AFC North showdown, Bengals' tackle Andrew Whitworth put blame for a pregame scuffle between the teams on NFL commissioner Roger Goodell.

The best-case scenario, sources told Holtzman, is that Dalton will return for the playoffs.

Bengals coach Marvin Lewis said Dalton will definitely miss next week's game against San Francisco but acknowledged he did not know whether Dalton would miss any additional time.

"I hurt my thumb," Dalton said. "They told me there is a fracture in there."

A broken thumb should at least take four weeks to heal.

Huh? I blame Goodell for a lot of things but I don't know what he had to do with Burfict coming over onto our side of the field and starting shit.

And about the broken thumb, I just wish that it had been one of our players hitting him when it happened.

Yeah, I don't understand how he can blame the NFL for this either.

JJ Watt just got flagged for roughing the passer. Brady immediately points to the ref, looking like for the flag.

I honestly don't think that would have been called on Ben. Hit to the midsection, 1 step after Brady released the ball.

Ben can get concussed on a helmet-to-helmet hit with another guy diving into his damn knee and it doesn't get called. :coffee:

AND get passed over by the crack NFL video review committee. Will be interesting to see if Watts gets fined.

FYI, I am forcing myself to watch this game just to see how the reffing is. Low and behold, I watch 1 quarter of 1 game with Brady and I see a call that would not have gone the same way for Ben.

Not watching it. Let me guess - did the pencil-neck geek (Collinsworth) go on and on about how players just can't hit the QB like that anymore? :coffee:

Just went back to the play. The announcers did not even notice it in real time, in fact they were expecting a penalty on New England. It was on a TD pass from Brady. They didn't play it up at all. Didn't defend Watt, didn't discuss the hit at all.

Refs have been over ruled by replay 4 times I think. A terrible officiating game. More bad refs today then good. Yet the league still thinks part time losers are the answer

Ben didn't draw a flag when the opposing player crawled up and hit him below the knees on a hit that injured ben's mcl and caused him to miss 4 games
