The Indianapolis Colts have won three consecutive games to gain a share of the lead in the AFC South. Surprisingly, they haven't done it by relying heavily on the deep ball as they did last season in advancing to conference title game.
With quarterback Andrew Luck sidelined four games with multiple injuries, backup Matt Hasselbeck has taken a more conservative approach.
Still, the Colts rely on a bread-and-butter play: Y-split, touchdown/check down. It's a familiar play used by several of the Steelers opponents this season, including Arizona and Oakland. The Cardinals and Raiders totaled 715 passing yards, mostly with that formation, but the Steelers prevailed.........
