The increasing subsect of Philadelphia Eagles fans dissatisfied with head coach Chip Kelly's performance may be about to get its wish. ESPN's Adam Schefter has indicated it's likely Kelly and the Eagles part ways following the 2015 season.

"I think the momentum and signs seem to be piling up against a Chip return to Philadelphia," Schefter said on SiriusXM NFL Radio. "I think both sides are sick of each other. I think the fans are tired of him. I think he's tired of the situation there."

Bleacher Report.

The problem with Kelly is he doesn't have a QB that is capable of running his offense. They never had a chance and Kelly getting rid of Reid's guys and bringing in his own guys just added to the mess that started with Kelly not having the QB. The Eagles really should have given Tennessee whatever they asked for to get Mariotta.

Rumors now are that Kaepernick would be the top candidate to run Kelly's offense. There's no way he returns to San Francisco after this season so the easy story is to place him in Philadelphia.

Not a matter of if, but of when.

Kelly needs to go back to college. He fits better there.

Has there ever been a college coach that has come to the NFL and been successful as a coach when he's had control of the personnel?

Jimmy Johnson says he did and he would be the last that I remember, but Jerrah has said otherwise...lol.

I think it's a shame. Give the guy a chance, 2 years is not a chance. I like that he "breaks the mold", much like Trump. New ways of doing things (West Coast Offense) leads to good things. Even if all of what he does doesn't work, there has to be bits and pieces that can be gotten to help improve the game / strategy.

I think he would be a better coach if he didn't have the ability to play with personnel. They'd be a much better team with Nick Foles, DeSean Jackson, Jeremy Maclin and LeSean McCoy...not to mention Evan Mathis.

Yeah, should have let him run the team for the first 3 years and then slowly let him make personnel decisions. Maybe he is too much of a control freak to last long in the NFL. Unfortunately, you have to know how to handle head cases and not just ship everyone out of town.

Which is obviously what Kelly did. Anyone that wasn't 100% buying his garbage was shipped out of town without question and with no consideration.

Yeah, everyone will be on the same page, but it will be a 5-11 or thereabouts, same page.
