The personal politics of Richard Mann aren't known. But when it comes to his job, as much as Mann might be tempted by spread-the-wealth idealism, the Steelers wide receivers coach knows that being a cold, hard capitalist works best.
“Would I like to see the ball spread around? Hey, it makes for a more healthy room when everybody is getting a little of the rock,” Mann said after a practice this week.
“But every place I've been, you've had a ‘guy,' and you've got ‘the rest of the guys' — and they know that. And they know that because I don't try to hide it.” .............
