It couldn't have been worse timing for Le'Veon Bell to suffer a season-ending knee injury. That goes for Bell and the Steelers. Bell could be in line to lose millions — or at least delay getting paid millions — because of the knee injury.

If they wait to see if Bell has recaptured his form, it could be too late and Bell would play out the season and test free agency.

This...but only as a last resort IMO. Try to extend him. The no negotiating during the season thing is old news...get over it. What else is Colbert getting paid for? Finding Mike Vick type scabs off the streets?
