Two knee injuries, two different outcomes. As Bill Cowher often said, it’s a fine line, or in these cases, a fine degree between ligament sprains.
While halfback Le’Veon Bell prepares for likely surgery to repair his knee injury that was reported to be at least an MCL sprain, defensive end Stephon Tuitt returned to practice Thursday and expects to return to play Sunday after missing two games with his own sprained MCL.
Tuitt knows that while the injury was a setback, he feels fortunate when compared to others such as Bell, Maurkice Pouncey and Kelvin Beachum..........
